Robin May: Executive Consultant
Robin has designed and delivered Volunteer Management training for a decade, as a Partner and Training Consultant with AM Training. He became a trainer in the late 1980’s specialising in Communication, Motivation, and Parenting, in addition to Volunteer Management.
He launched The Training Cycle after recognising the need for more focused support and resources in order for training courses to result in effective change.
Robin is also an accredited Life Coach, delivering Management and Parenting coaching sessions to individuals throughout the UK via telephone and / or Skype.
In addition to designing and delivering Management training throughout the UK, Robin’s recent work has included piloting the City & Guilds Working With Parents level III qualification and delivering parenting skills sessions throughout the NW in association with the BBC ‘Get Parenting’ programme.
He is also an Associate Trainer for SpeakersBank, a national network of speakers and trainers in communication and interpersonal skills, and the inspiration for the BBC series, “The Speaker”.
He uses his experience, interpersonal and group facilitation skills to generate enthusiasm and commitment in those with whom he interacts in a training and mentoring / coaching role.
John Meredith: Consultant Trainer
John is a Certified Master Facilitator for The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and The Four Imperatives of Great Leadership workshops. As a Shareholder and Director of Covey Leadership UK Ltd, he was instrumental in introducing the work of Stephen Covey to the UK in 1993.
He specialises in creating and conducting Principle-Centered Personal, Team and Corporate Leadership Development Programmes. John has delivered programmes and provided advice to many multinational companies in Europe, USA, South America, South Africa and Asia in a broad range of manufacturing, sales and service industries to help them implement effective change strategies.
John has a passion for exploring and discovering the great power for unlimited greatness that lies within us all.
Jackie Cameron: Consultant Trainer
Jackie is a Coach and Trainer based in Edinburgh. She has experience of working in a variety of sectors including education (school, college and university), charities, not for profit organisations, and local authorities as well as businesses within the private sector.
Her particular focus is on communication skills training - including speaking and listening skills, presentation skills and social networking for business.
Jackie is passionate about working with young people.
She has taught public speaking skills to a range of age groups, most recently to university post graduate students and recent graduates. She is an Associate of the Edinburgh Institute at Edinburgh Napier University, an Associate Trainer with Speakersbank and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Jane Cameron: Associate Trainer

Jane has enthusiastically championed the cause of effective communication with her pioneering work with speaking clubs and delivering workshops. She believes that everyone has potential to “find their voice and make a difference” and works primarily with school children, young adults and adults in the voluntary sector to develop and improve their communication skills.
Jane is an Associate Trainer with Speakers Bank – the UK’s leading public speaking training organisation working with adults and young people in the not-for-profit sector. Jane’s business background in marketing and behavioural sciences provides her with an understanding of the common barriers to effective communication and, most importantly, how to unlock these.
She delivers her training workshops with creativity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
Carl Meah: Associate Trainer
Down to earth, quick-witted and with a great sense of humour Carl has a natural ability to connect with young people and adults alike. These qualities have enabled him to become a successful trainer and facilitator.
His personal life experience inspired him to take up a career in anger management, achieving consultant level with the British Association of Anger Management. On qualifying he then fulfilled a dream when he delivered a series of workshops at HMP Everthorpe, Humberside.
Carl has given interviews to many of the UK’s broadsheets and has also appeared on television and radio in his capacity as an anger management consultant.
He particularly loves working with young people and values the capacity of each individual to change, and to achieve their full potential.
