Public Access Training

We recognise that it is often not realistic for smaller organisations to release managers for several days at a time, and so our Public Access Training courses are bite-sized, half-day events.

At under £100 per session, our courses provide an affordable solution for individual managers, sole traders and small business owners to progress their professional development.

Discover how to create more rewarding and productive relationships, develop motivation and self-esteem, and manage conflict and difficult situations effectively.

Bespoke Training Service

We don't expect you to be an expert in the preparation, design and delivery of professional training programmes - that is our field of expertise

We work in partnership with you, considering all stakeholders, referring to best practice and research, whilst taking into account your organisational values and vision.

We provide services and resources to identify strengths and learning & development needs, following the training cycle model.

We can work with an entire organisation, performing a Training Needs Analysis (TNA), or provide clear direction and resources, enabling you to perform this process yourself.

…We ensure your training has the correct purpose.

Once the most appropriate Training Needs have been identified, we specify and agree learning outcomes with you, creating a brief overview and ‘snappy’ title for the event.

We support you in exploring the specific Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats to the success of your training event.

Together we explore what managerial and organisational support can be put in place; to best ensure the required performance outcomes are achieved.

We work with you to identify how you might best evaluate the impact of the training on your organisation.

We get creative about how to encourage a sense of anticipation in the delegates; creating ownership and fostering a desire for proposed changes.

We seek ways to inject fun and a sense of playfulness into the process; we understand that people learn best when in a relaxed, focussed state.

Back at the office, we create comprehensive, easy to understand and accessible handouts and professional PowerPoint presentations.

We design interactive and engaging learning activities, with an emphasis on the delegates recognising the learning points for themselves as much as possible.

…We work in partnership with you to purposefully prepare for success

Our trainers are engaging, professional, personable and highly skilled. They are experienced enough to effectively manage unforeseen eventualities.

They recognise it is essential that training sessions be regarded with a sense of reward and value, approaching their work with professional integrity.

Our Consultants are able to competently manage themselves in the face of delegates who may be presenting as angry or upset, or who may be expressing themselves inappropriately.

Having created a supportive and cooperative learning environment; they encourage the quiet to speak-out, and the outspoken to be succinct. They consciously seek and plan to cater for different learning and communication styles in how they present.

…We provide a highly skilled, professional service

Our goal is to ensure that every client receives the advice and guidance that is best for them and their organisation.

We take the time to ensure we understand your needs, delivering a creative service that meets those needs within your available budget.

Example 1:

The Training Cycle worked with an organisation to improve internal communications. We introduced them to models, fresh perspectives, and practise in Communication Styles, during an innovative and engaging training day.

During our follow-up work, all employees were facilitated in practising alternative communication styles all in a single, previously agreed, day.

This creative approach resulted in a fun and upbeat experience, whilst enabling a deeper appreciation of difference, and ensuring that new learning was applied within daily practise.

This follow-up activity only required a few hours of a Consultant’s time, with no travel or accommodation expenses – yet it resulted in many additional learning hours for the delegates: Cost effective and productive.

Example 2:

A client approached The Training Cycle about delivering a short session on a specific topic, even though they were constrained by a relatively small budget.

We identified that we can:

  • Put Coaching calls in place to support the client in accurately identifying training needs
  • Design clear and specific handouts, PowerPoint slides and learning activities that the client can then deliver to the delegates

- Provide a bespoke service to meet the clients’ needs whilst coming in under budget.

…We get creative in identifying and meeting your actual needs
